Voting has been disrupted in Ejigbo in the ongoing Osun State state governorship election after an outbreak of violence at a polling unit.

According to a video footage from the scene, voters, residents and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, fled the area as tension escalated.

INEC officials, as well as residents, were seen scampering for safety as people ran in different directions and moved away from the polling area.

Similarly, motorcycles and vehicles were also seen moving through the area as residents attempted to escape the unfolding situation.
