Osun Election: Adeleke receives Certificate of Return [VIDEO]

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has received his Certificate of Return, following his victory in the just concluded governorship election in the state.

The the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, presented the certificate to Adeleke in Osogbo on Wednesday.

The governor’s Special Assistant on Digital Media, Olalekan Badmus, disclosed this on his official X handle.

According to Badmus, the certificate formally recognises Adeleke as the winner of the election, which held on Saturday.

DAILY POST reports that Adeleke won the election after polling 511,067 votes to defeat his opponents, including Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who got 444,815 votes.

Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, polled 17,180 votes, coming third on the ballot.
