Osun: They want to withdraw security because Accord Party is winning – Davido

Daily Post about 4 hours 1 mins read

Afrobeats superstar, Davido, has alleged that the Federal Government wants to withdraw security operatives from the Osun State governorship election because Accord Party is winning.

Davido made the allegation in a post on his verified X handle on Saturday as results of the election started trickling in.

He also said that some Presiding Officers are insisting to input result at the Collation Centre.

He charged Accord Party supporters and voters to ensure that the results are filled into the form EC8A, signed and uploaded to the iRev.

“Because we are winning. They want to withdraw the police and military! Mr President Tinubu, you are killing  democracy,” he wrote.

The election is keenly contested by his uncle, the incumbent governor Ademola Adeleke and other candidates from the various political parties.
