Oyo 2027: APM chieftains dump party, join APC

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Some chieftains and members of the ruling Allied Peoples Movement, APM, in Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State have dumped the party.

The APM members have joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.

They announced their defection to the APC at the party’s state secretariat in Ibadan on Friday.

The party chieftains were led into the APC fold by Hon. Kazeem Mustapha.

They were received by the State APC Chairman, Chief Moses Adeyemo, and the State Secretary, Hon. Fatai Adesina, among others.

Mustapha, while addressing the gathering, said, “It came to a point that we could not pretend anymore, and this made us see the light in the progressive fold.”
