Mrs Rachael Folawe Alamu, the rescued school principal of Community High School in Oriire Local Government Area LGA, of Oyo State has revealed that they spent at least four hours on the road when the terrorists were moving them into a tick forest.

She stated this on Monday during the official handover of the rescued victims to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, by the Nigerian Army.

Folawe stated that the terrorists used about ten motorcycles, why were used to convey them to the hideout.

“The terrorists used my car to convey us to a point, and that’s where we met the primary schoolchildren and teachers who had been abducted from the other school.

“We walked for one hour, and they brought 10 motorcycles, and we rode for more than 4 hours on uncharted paths, but the terrorists knew their way,” she said.

DAILY POST reports that the victims, who were abducted on May 15, regained their freedom on July 10.
