The Civil Defence, Correction, Fire and Immigration Services Board CDCFIB has notified candidates who took part in the recently concluded physical and medical screening exercise for recruitment into the Nigerian Correctional Service NCOS, Nigeria Immigration Service NIS, Federal Fire Service FFS and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, that the Board has concluded the assessment and shortlisting process for the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (retd), the Board said all successful candidates who applied under the Graduate Category are required to visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal at “https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng” from Monday, 31st August to Wednesday, 2nd September 2026, to check for their shortlisting status for the oral interview.
Candidates who applied with NCE, OND or SSCE qualifications, the statement said, should visit the same portal from Monday, 7th to Wednesday, 9th September 2026, to check whether they have been shortlisted for the exercise.
Jibril said the Board does not and will not send out emails, stressing that all communications regarding the recruitment exercise should be obtained strictly from the portal.
He said shortlisted candidates are required to select a venue nearest to them, along with a date and time, and print their letters of invitation, adding that candidates must appear strictly in the dress code specified in their letters. “For the avoidance of doubt, only candidates who are shortlisted for this final exercise will be granted access to the venue,” the statement read.
The Board reiterated that the entire recruitment process remains transparent and free of charge, warning applicants to disregard any individual or group demanding payment for employment in whatever form.
It enjoined all candidates to take note of its portal address and official communication channels for updates, stressing that all legitimate communications would occur through the official portal alone.
