Pinnacle Oil & Gas Limited, a leading downstream oil and gas company, has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships with its vendors through the successful hosting of its 2026 Vendors’ Forum, themed “Partnering for Operational Excellence.”
Held under the sub-theme, “Strengthening Partnerships Through Compliance, Safety, Performance and Innovation,” the event brought together more than 100 existing and prospective vendors, alongside key stakeholders, both physically and virtually, to deepen collaboration and support the Company’s growth and operational efficiency.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Adenike Labinjo, described vendors as strategic partners whose commitment to quality, safety, innovation and compliance directly impacts Pinnacle’s ability to deliver value to customers and stakeholders.
She noted that as the Company’s operations continue to expand, it is increasingly important for Pinnacle and its vendors to operate from a common understanding of expectations, responsibilities and performance standards. She further reaffirmed that safety, regulatory compliance and ethical business practices remain non-negotiable across all vendor engagements.
The forum featured presentations from senior leaders across Procurement, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, Legal, HSE, and Sales & Marketing, providing vendors with practical guidance on Pinnacle’s procurement processes, onboarding and prequalification requirements, Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, tax invoicing, payment processes, contractual obligations, technical specifications, contractor responsibilities, supplier performance expectations and Service Level Agreements. The sessions also highlighted improvements to the Company’s Purchase Order (PO) process aimed at enhancing efficiency and transparency.
A major highlight of the event was an interactive question-and-answer session, during which vendors engaged directly with Pinnacle’s leadership on procurement procedures, compliance expectations, project execution, HSE requirements and opportunities for continuous improvement. The dialogue reinforced Pinnacle’s commitment to open communication while providing vendors with valuable insights into the Company’s evolving business requirements.
Speaking on the significance of the forum, Oluseyi Ogunfowora, Head of Procurement & Administration, said the initiative reflects Pinnacle’s commitment to building stronger partnerships through transparency, collaboration and shared accountability.
She explained that Procurement serves as the coordinating function that brings together the requirements of Engineering, Operations, Marine, Compliance, Legal, Finance, HSE and other business units to ensure a fair, efficient and transparent procurement process. She encouraged vendors to submit complete and compliant documentation, communicate proactively, and seek clarification whenever necessary, noting that strong partnerships are built on trust, clear communication and a shared commitment to operational excellence.
