Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been charged with five sexual offences in the United Kingdom.
According to Arise News, the charges were confirmed by Snaresbrook Crown Court in London.
The entertainer is facing one count of attempted rape, two counts of rape, and two counts of assault by penetration.
A court official, James Baker, an Administrative Team Leader at Snaresbrook Crown Court, reportedly confirmed the charges in correspondence with Nigerian media.
The case has been scheduled for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 15, 2026, where Poco Lee is expected to enter his plea.
The court has also imposed reporting restrictions to protect the identity of the complainant in line with the UK’s Sexual Offences Amendment Act 1992.
The development comes after earlier reports that the dancer was being investigated by UK authorities over allegations of sexual offences.
However, the charges remain allegations at this stage, and Poco Lee is presumed innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.
