Men of the Oyo State Police command have arrested two suspected drug peddlers.
The command also recovered eight parcels of substance suspected to be Canadian loud.
The revelations were made in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlade and made available to DAILY POST in the early hours of Saturday.
Ayanlade said the substance was concealed inside a car tyre and that the suspects are currently in police custody.
He noted that the suspects would be charged to court after the conclusion of the investigation.
He said, “Acting on the directive, operatives proceeded to the said shop, where they arrested two suspects and recovered the eight parcels of weeds suspected to be Canadian Loud concealed inside the car tyre with the assistance of the vulcanizer. A vulcanizing machine allegedly used in the process was also recovered as an exhibit.
“Upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to their respective involvement in the act and are currently assisting the Police with the ongoing investigation”.
