Police arrest two suspects over alleged illegal firearms, cannabis offences in Volta Region

The Volta North Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects in separate operations involving the alleged possession of illegal firearms and suspected cannabis in parts of the region. In the first case, a suspect identified as Saviour Dzadze was arrested on October 14, 2026, at the premises of the Kpando Circuit Court over allegations of death threats, unlawful possession of firearms and cannabis cultivation at Alavanyo-Dzogbedze in the Kpando District.
