The Ghana Police Service has recorded major breakthroughs in its nationwide fight against armed robbery, with several suspected criminals arrested and a cache of weapons and ammunition recovered. The Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, announced the development at a press briefing at the National Police Headquarters on Monday, September 7, 2026.
