Portugal reveal when next Ronaldo will play for national team after suspension

Daily Post 10 minutes 1 mins read

Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, is set for an immediate return to the national team.

The country’s football federation on Saturday, confirmed the 41-year-old has been suspended for walking out of camp during the UEFA Nations League in September.

But it now appears Ronaldo will likely serve a one-month suspension.

The Al Nassr forward could be available for Portugal during the November International break.

“The Federation, the coach, all the teammates are aligned: we want Cristiano back. I expect him back already during the November international break,” FPF president, Pedro Proença, said.

“Cristiano is also willing to return. He’s the best of all time.”
