Sandro Tonali opened the scoring with his first goal for the club, latching on to a loose ball at the base of the box.
Tonali’s goal was quickly cancelled out by Estevao’s header that crept over the line.
Tottenham were then reduced to 10 men after Kevin Danso received a red card three minutes after coming on.
Although Danso’s dismisaal looked to put the game into Chelsea’s control, they failed to make the advantage count.
Richarlison tapped his side into a late lead with virtually the last kick of the game, pouncing on a loose ball in the box after Donley’s effort bounced off the post.
