President Federation Cup: Danjuma delighted with Nasarawa Amazons’ final feat

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma, has expressed satisfaction with the team’s qualification for the final of the 2026 President Federation Cup.

The Amazons beat Sunshine Queens 2-1 in the semi-final of the competition in Enugu on Thursday.

Nasarawa Amazons will face Heartland Queens in the final.

Danjuma said that he is anticipating a great final match.

“We thank God; last year we reached the finals of the President Federation Cup, and now we are in the finals again. We believe this will be a great final,” Danjuma told the club’s media.

Danjuma however urged his team not to underrate Heartland Queens.

“Once again, I thank God for my wards. In the Super Six, we finished third. It’s important not to lose concentration; just believe. We know what Heartland Queens can bring to the table.”

The Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, the Delta State capital will host the grand finale of the competition on July 11, 2026.
