‘Prophet wasn’t recognized’ – Catholic Priest on Nnamdi Kanu’s warnings

Daily Post about 3 hours 2 mins read

A Catholic Priest, Fada Angelo Chidi Unegbu has claimed that the convicted leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu had warned Nigerians about terrorism before the security crisis escalated but he wasn’t heard.

In a post on his official Facebook page on Friday, Fada Angelo, who described the IPOB leader as a prophet, lamented that his warning was not taken seriously.

“Mazi Nnamdi Kanu warned us. The people prayed for a prophet. A prophet was sent, but they did not recognize him”, he said.

The cleric asserted that those who ignored Kanu’s warning about the escalating violence in the country were now “praying for a messiah to deliver them from insecurity, terrorism, and oppression.

“Yet perhaps the answer they seek has already been placed before them”.

Fada Angelo declared that “no one is coming to save us from this present security challenges. We are the ones we have been waiting for”.

He called on Nigerians to “stand together in courage, unity, and purpose”, stressing that “when the people unite, fear loses its grip, and darkness gives way to light.

“Our liberation begins the day we choose to stand together. I am happy many brains have been returned to factory settings. That is the first condition”.
