Daily Post 21 minutes 1 mins read

In commemoration of World Polio Day 2026, the Rotary E-Club of Omole Golden-Impact formally decorated Fatimah Omoniyi, a fashion entrepreneur and polio survivor, as its End Polio Now Ambassador.

The recognition celebrated Fatimah’s courage, resilience and determination to build an independent life despite the lifelong mobility effects of polio. During the visit to her business, the club presented her with a Certificate of Appointment and Recognition, End Polio advocacy materials and a business-support donation.

Speaking at the presentation, the Impact President, Rtn. Adedoyin Adedeji, FCA, described Fatimah’s story as a powerful reminder that polio leaves lasting consequences and that advocacy, immunisation and support must continue until polio is eradicated everywhere.

Through this World Polio Day initiative, the club reaffirmed its commitment to raising awareness, celebrating resilience and strengthening the global End Polio Now campaign.
