Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Nigeria will take on Russia in an international friendly match on Tuesday evening.

The Super Eagles are looking to bounce back from a shock 3-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

However, they will come up against a solid Russian team, that has already defeated Iran and Namibia during the current international window, scoring eight goals.

The friendly will be played at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium in Novgorod and kick off is 5pm Nigerian time, or 7pm in Moscow.

It is the second meeting between the two countries, with their previous encounter ending in a 1-1 draw in Moscow in June 2025.

Nigerian fans who are interested in watching the game, can follow it on AfroSport TV, which is listed as the broadcaster for the African market.
