Scores killed as suspected herdsmen attack Benue community

No fewer than 13 persons have been confirmed dead and several others missing as suspected herdsmen launched a deadly attack on Efeyi community in Ugboju Otukpo LGA of Benue State.

DAILY Post gathered that the herdsmen invaded the village on Tuesday and opened fire on residents.

So far, 13 bodies have been recovered while a search is ongoing.

When contacted, the Benue Police PRO, Edet Udeme said she would get details of the incident.
