Six arrested, GH¢300,000 recovered after robbery attack on Bono East highway

The Ghana Police Service has arrested six suspects and recovered GH cent;300,000 following a robbery attack on the Portor-Gurumpe Highway in the Bono East Region. The Bono East Regional Police Command said officers stationed at the Portor Police Barrier received intelligence on the night of July 19, 2026, that a robbery was taking place a short distance from the checkpoint.
