Soludo congratulates Osun Gov, Adeleke on re-election

Daily Post about 2 hours 2 mins read

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has congratulated the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his successful re-election for a second term.

Adeleke won his re-election after last Saturday’s governorship polls in Osun State.

Soludo, in his congratulatory message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Christian Aburime, said that Adeleke’s electoral victory reflected the trust placed in him by the people of Osun State to lead them for another term of four years.

In the release, Aburime quoted Soludo as saying: “Their (Osun people’s) vote speaks volumes of confidence in his administration and commitment to progressive development.

“The Governor equally celebrated the people of Osun State, the voters who exercised their democratic right with peaceful conviction, as their participation reinforced the strength of our democracy and demonstrates the power of citizens to shape their collective future.

“As Governor Adeleke embarks on his renewed journey of leadership, Governor Soludo posits that true governance thrives when leaders rise above partisan differences to act magnanimous and focus on shared goals of development.

“So, all political actors in Osun State, including the triumphant ruling party, the opposition, and civil society, are urged to embrace peace and unity for collective progress,” Aburime wrote.

Governor Soludo wished Governor Ademola Adeleke a successful tenure of his renewed mandate, guided by magnanimity, wisdom, and courage for greater development that will yield lasting benefits for the people of Osun State.
