Somalia's election body announces new timetable for upcoming elections

The Parliamentary elections are scheduled for April 15, 2027,followed by Presidential elections on May 15,2027, the commission said during a televised news conference. The commission also announced the opening of voter registration for eligable citizens who have not yet registered ahead of polls..
