State Police: Senate, IGP Committee not in conflict, says Ogunsakin

As debate intensifies over the proposed establishment of state police in Nigeria, Chairman of the Nigeria Police Committee on the Establishment of State Police, Professor Olu Ogunsakin, has clarified that there is no conflict between the constitutional amendment process being driven by the National Assembly and the work of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)-constituted committee.
