“Stop Making Fake Drugs, It’s Killing People” – Ngozi Ezeonu Pleads

InformationNG about 2 hours 2 mins read

Nollywood actress Ngozi Ezeonu has made an emotional appeal to manufacturers and distributors of fake and adulterated drugs, urging them to stop putting innocent lives at risk just to make money.

The veteran actress expressed concern over the growing number of people battling serious health problems, particularly kidney and liver-related illnesses, which she linked to the circulation of counterfeit and substandard products.

Speaking passionately about the situation, Ezeonu questioned how people could continue to profit from products that could cost others their lives. She described the practice as unacceptable and called on those involved to have a change of heart.

“I don’t understand what’s happening in this country anymore. When you go to hospitals you see young people dying with kidney problems, liver problems; because everything is fake! I don’t know what the authorities are doing.”

Ezeonu urged those involved in the production and distribution of fake drugs to think about the consequences of their actions and remember that real people are suffering because of the products they put on the market.

Her message was ultimately a plea for humanity: no amount of profit should be worth the life of another person.
