Strait of Hormuz: Trump’s agreement doesn’t bind us – Israel’s Ben Gvir slams US-Iran deal

Daily Post 4 days 1 mins read

Israel’s far-right national security minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, has denounced the deal between the United States and Iran to end the war in West Asia, including in Lebanon.

Ben Gvir stated this on his Telegram channel on Monday,  insisting that Israel was not bound by it.

“Trump’s agreement does not bind us; we are not party to this agreement. It does not safeguard our security,” Ben Gvir said.

“We must not settle for anything less than the dismantling of Hezbollah,” he said.

Recall that United States President Donald Trump had earlier announced that a deal had been reached to end their war and “reopen the Strait of Hormuz”, a preliminary pact that sent oil prices falling but leaves the fate of Tehran’s nuclear program to further negotiations.

Also, Ianian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi confirmed in a televised interview that the memorandum between Tehran and Washington had been finalized.
