Media personality and socialite, Tosin Akinbo has claimed that stripping is among the highest-paying jobs in Lagos, revealing that some strippers can earn millions of naira in a single night.
Akinbo made the claim while speaking on the TalkYourTalk Podcast hosted by Nini OJ, where he discussed the nightlife industry and the spending habits of wealthy clubgoers.
According to him, a stripper once approached him after making a significant amount of money in one night.
“Stripping is one of the highest-paying jobs in Lagos. A stripper once came to me and said, ‘OMG, I made ₦1 million last night!’ Your nightclub was lit,” he said.
Akinbo also claimed that strippers at some clubs receive salaries in addition to money they make through cash spraying from customers.
He said the earnings generated by strippers through cash spraying could be significant, particularly at high-end clubs with wealthy patrons.
“We even pay them salaries. So, with the owner of my club, his links are so strong that there are underlying earnings that he does not focus on, like cash spraying on those strippers,” Akinbo said.
He further claimed that some patrons visit clubs associated with nightlife entrepreneur Pretty Mike and spend huge sums of money in a single night.
“Pretty Mike is so big that people come to the club to spend ₦10 million, ₦15 million, ₦20 million and so on,” he said.
