Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Alex Iwobi will be presented with a commemorative plaque to celebrate his 100th appearance for the Super Eagles, DAILY POST reports.

Iwobi will make his 100th appearance for the three-time African champions in tonight’s friendly against Portugal.

The 30-year-old will join an elite group of players, who have reached a century of appearances for Nigeria.

Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, former captains Joseph Yobo, and Ahmed Musa are the other players to hit this milestone.

In his 99 appearances for the Super Eagles, Iwobi has scored 10 goals, and registered eight assists.

The Fulham midfielder made his debut for the Super Eagles against Democratic Republic of Congo in 2015.
