The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has released the Best XI of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, with no Super Falcons player included, DAILY POST reports.

The Super Falcons endured a disappointing tournament, crashing out in the quarter-finals following a 1-0 loss to the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.

It was the first time the 10-time African champions had failed to reach the last four of the tournament.

Champions, Cameroon dominated the selection with four players.

Goalkeeper, Michaelly Bihina, Myrian Myadjou, Monique Ngock and Marie Ngah were named in the Best XI.

Runners-up, Malawi also had two players included, with Tabitha Chawinga and Temwa Chawinga making the team.

Hosts, Morocco and Algeria also contributed two players each.

Mohaila Benzina and Hanane Ait El Haj were the Moroccan players selected, while Algeria’s representatives were Ines Bellomou and Marine Dafeur.

Zambia striker, Barbara Banda completed the line-up.
