Ugandan hip-hop artist THE MITH is set to celebrate the country’s music, culture and identity through a live event scheduled for November 14 at Kati Kati Grounds in Kampala.

Dubbed THE SO UG EXPERIENCE, the event will bring together music lovers, creatives and cultural enthusiasts for an evening centred on the artist’s music and the stories that have shaped his career.

Some of the artists expected to perform include Lilian Mbabazi, Maurice Kirya, Navio, Elijah Kitaka, Feffe, Winnie Nwagi, Bigtril and Flex D’Paper, among others.

Organised by House Of Deejays and Fenon Events, the experience is built around the theme of taking flight with THE MITH into his Uganda, exploring the country’s sounds, people and cultural influences through music and storytelling.

THE MITH, also known as Mr So UG, began his musical journey as a member of Klear Kut, one of Uganda’s pioneering hip-hop groups, before pursuing a solo career.

His music explores themes of identity, belonging, ambition and social consciousness, reflecting aspects of Ugandan life and the wider African experience.
The artist said the event would provide an opportunity for Ugandans to celebrate their heritage and appreciate local creativity.

“THE SO UG EXPERIENCE is about sharing my Uganda with the people. It’s about celebrating where we come from and recognising the beauty, complexity and brilliance of who we are,” he said.
He added that he hoped audiences would leave feeling proud and more connected to their stories.

The event will feature music from THE MITH’s catalogue, offering fans an opportunity to revisit his work and connect with the messages behind his songs.
Tickets are priced at Shs30,000 for early bird access, Shs50,000 at the gate and Shs100,000 for Business Class. First Class tables for five will cost Shs2m.

The event follows the success of his album THE UGANDAN Vol. 2: BALI-OKWABWE, which won Album of the Year at the Uganda Hip-Hop Awards 2025.
