‘This Isn’t Tinubu We Knew As Lagos Governor’ — Ex-Minister, Dalung
Former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung, says President Bola Tinubu has changed from the person he was known to be as Lagos State governor.
Dalung made the claim on Monday while fielding questions in an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
He said many Nigerians elected Tinubu based on claims that he transformed Lagos State during his tenure as governor.
According to him, Tinubu enjoyed the “support” of Nigerians in the last election not because of their love for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
“This wasn’t the Tinubu that was a Governor in Lagos State. Many Nigerians elected Tinubu, not that they like the APC.
“They supported him because they thought as a Lagos magician who was speculated to have transformed Lagos into one of the major economies in Nigeria, he’s going to replicate the same thing.
“But right now he has certainly changed. He has become very parochial and has lost focus. So full of himself,” Dalung said.
