The National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has described the administration of President Bola Tinubu as a failure.
Baba-Ahmed made this assertion on Tuesday while speaking on Channels Television's Politics Today.
He said although President Tinubu inherited a weak country, he has done nothing to fix it after three and a half years in office.
"Tinubu inherited Nigeria, but what has he done with it? He inherited a poor country; he inherited weak institutions; he inherited poverty and insecurity. We don't blame him, but he's been in power for three and a half years. He is a failure," Baba-Ahmed said.
He said Nigerians are now in deeper trouble than when Tinubu took over in 2023, with insecurity, hunger and hardship worsening across the country.
According to him, the President promised to secure Nigerians and improve their living conditions but has failed to live up to those promises.
Baba-Ahmed also said Northerners will not forget the humiliation and neglect they have suffered under the current administration ahead of the 2027 election.
