The wife, father and the associates of the late gospel musician, Toluwanisings have signed a peace undertaking with the authorities over his burial dispute.

This came two days after Toluwanisings' wife, Damilola Olayemi reportedly agreed with her father-in-law to bury the singer at their Ibadan residence.

However, speaking on Tuesday in a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, Ayanlade Olayinka, the Oyo State Police Command disclosed that the singer's wife, father and his associates have signed a peace agreement to resolve the dispute and prevent further escalation.

According to the statement, the state police commissioner, Abimbola Ayodeji Olugbenga, invited the parties after receiving information about the dispute between the deceased’s family and associates over his burial arrangements, which had generated tensions and exchanges on social media.

The parties agreed to "refrain from actions that can cause further tension over the circumstances surrounding Toluwanisings' death and agreed to end discussions relating to the dispute and interviews through any communication channels."

Parties who signed the undertaking include singer’s widow, his father, Muniru Olayemi; his uncle, Lawal Ademola Rafiu; his PA Babadunni Gbolabo and his associate, Oyindamola Esther.

Recall that Toluwanisings slumped and died at his residence on October 14, 2026.

DAILY POST reports that the circumstances surrounding the musician's sudden death have continued to raise questions from the public.
