Transfer: Arsenal make decision on Calafiori as Mourinho urges Real Madrid to sign defender

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Arsenal have made a decision regarding Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid’s interest in signing their defender Riccardo Calafiori.

According to Football London, the Gunners are aware of interest from Mourinho and Real Madrid but have ‘no intention’ of selling Calafiori this summer.

The report added that the Premier League champions feel ‘no pressure’ to sell the Italian this summer transfer window.

Mourinho has ‘approved’ a move for the former Bologna star and also Manchester City’s Josko Gvardiol as he prepares to take over at Real Madrid.

The Portuguese signed a three-year contract with the Los Blancos last month, and the LaLiga giants are expected to announce him as their new manager this week.
