Carlos Baleba has passed his Manchester United medical ahead of a move from Brighton.
According to Sky Sports, Baleba has signed a five-year contract with an option to extend the deal until 2032.
United are now in the process of finalising the paperwork on a £70m deal with Brighton.
The agreement is made up of a £65m guaranteed payment plus £5m in bonuses.
An official announcement from both clubs could be made on Monday.
The Red Devils began the new season with a shock 2-0 defeat at Hull City on Saturday.
