Transfer: Barcelona battle Arsenal, Chelsea for Italian-Nigerian midfielder Ejodamen

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Barcelona have joined Arsenal and Chelsea in the hunt for Italian-Nigerian midfielder Justin Ehikioya Ejodamen.

Ejodamen, who currently plays for Borussia Dortmund’s youth team, is eligible to play for Italy, Nigeria and Germany on the international level.

He was born in Germany to Nigerian parents and represents Italy internationally at the youth level.

His performances have attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus.

However, Sport reports that Barcelona have repeatedly sent scouts to track Ejodame’s progress in matches for Dortmund’s U16 team and the Italian youth side.

The report added that Dortmund are eager to keep the 15-year-old, and because of his age, any international transfer would fall under FIFA’s regulations on minors.
