Transfer: Bouaddi to join Man City as Chelsea block forward from leaving club

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Lille midfielder, Ayyoub Bouaddi, is all set to join Manchester City after agreeing on a deal with the Premier League club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Lille also gave the green light for Bouaddi to join the Cityzens after reaching a fee of €100m package with add-ons with Enzo Maresca’s side.

Bouaddi has already agreed terms with Manchester City in July and is now set to join the club in this summer’s transfer window.

Meanwhile, in another development, Chelsea have rejected a loan bid from AS Roma for forward Jamie Gittens.

According to talkSPORT, the Italian Serie A side proposed a loan deal with an option to buy, but Chelsea are now believed to have no intention of letting Gittens leave Stamford Bridge.

Xabi Alonso’s side will not negotiate any exit for the 22-year-old, as they want to keep him in the squad for the season.
