Transfer: Chido Obi leaves Man Utd

Manchester United striker, Chido Obi, has joined Willem II on a season-long loan.

Chido Obi, who featured for the Red Devils in preseason, is now set to play for the Dutch club.

The teenager has already been booked for medical tests.

The loan move does not have a buy option included, which means Chido Obi will return to United in June 2027.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: “Chido Obi from Manchester United to Willem II, here we go! Deal done for the striker to join Dutch side on season long loan.

“#MUFC authorize medical taking place today.

“No buy option clause included, loan move until the end of the season – after

@VI_nl.”
