Transfer: David Alaba agrees deal to join Maduka Okoye at Udinese

David Alaba has agreed a deal to sign for Udinese as a free agent.

The Austrian defender left Real Madrid this summer after his contract expired.

Alaba has now reached a verbal agreement to join the Serie A side.

This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, via his X account.

Romano wrote: “EXCLUSIVE: Udinese have reached a verbal agreement with David Alaba!

“Austrian star, a dream signing for the Italian club with a verbal agreement in place with former Real Madrid defender.

“Formal steps needed ahead of the here we go.”

Alaba, who has Nigerian heritage, is set to line up alongside Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, at Udinese.

Okoye joined the Italian club in August 2023, signing a four-year contract.
