This year’s summer transfer window closed at 11pm on Tuesday night.
Several deals were completed throughout the day as clubs rushed to beat the deadline.
Manchester City wrapped up the signing of Enzo Fernández from Chelsea.
The 25-year-old joined City on a five-year contract and said he was eager to continue winning trophies.
Elsewhere, Chelsea goalkeeper, Robert Sánchez completed a season-long loan move to Serie A side Como.
Sánchez made 112 appearances for the Blues after joining from Brighton in August 2023. He departs Stamford Bridge after Emi Martínez arrived from Aston Villa and took his spot.
Another Chelsea player, Mykhailo Mudryk, also secured a season-long loan move. The Ukraine winger will be reunited with head coach Roberto De Zerbi, having previously played under the Italian manager earlier in his career.
Tosin Adarabioyo also joined Tottenham from Chelsea in a £10 million deal plus £2 million in add-ons.
He becomes the first player to complete a permanent move between the two clubs in 17 years.
Belgian winger Malick Fofana eventually opted to sign for Sunderland from Lyon on a long-term contract. The 21-year-old becomes the Black Cats’ fifth signing of the summer.
Crystal Palace also announced the signing of Quinten Timber on a contract until 2031. The 25-year-old midfielder, who has won 13 caps for the Netherlands, joins Palace after featuring for Marseille and Feyenoord.
Palace also sealed a permanent deal for Ben Chilwell, who has rejoined the Premier League club from Strasbourg. Chilwell was one of 10 deal sheets submitted before the 11pm deadline.
Jack Grealish returned to Everton on loan from Manchester City for the remainder of the 2026/27 season after spending the previous campaign with the Merseyside club.
Everton also confirmed the arrival of Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Lyon for a fee of £4.2 million. Maitland-Niles has signed a three-year contract with the option of a further year.
Brighton also confirmed that Amario Cozier-Duberry has completed a loan move to Middlesbrough. Cozier-Duberry has signed a new contract with the Seagulls until June 2029.
