Transfer: Galatasaray president, Özbek rules out Osimhen sale

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Galatasaray president, Dursun Özbek has said the club won’t entertain any offer for Victor Osimhen this summer, DAILY POST reports.

Osimhen has been linked with Premier League champions, Arsenal this summer.

The Gunners are reportedly willing to offer Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri as part of the deal.

Saudi club, Al-Hilal are also rumoured to be interested in the Nigeria international.

Özbek has, however, declared Galatasaray’s intention to hold on to their talismanic striker.

“What I said for Barış Alper Yılmaz, I am now saying more strongly for Osimhen. No matter how much money it is, I am not selling Osimhen,” he told 343 Digital as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.

Osimhen opened the new Turkish Super Lig season with a brace in Okan Buruk side’s 2-2 draw against Arca Çorum FK on Friday night.
