Chelsea legend, John Terry, has hailed the decision of the club to sign striker Danny Welbeck.
The Blues recently signed Welbeck from Brighton on a 2-year deal this summer transfer window.
Reacting, Terry, in a post on Instagram, described the addition of the England striker to manager Xabi Alonso’s squad as a great signing.
The former England defender also recalls the number of times Welbeck has scored against Chelsea in the past.
“Great signing this. And at least he won’t score against us anymore,” Terry said.
Welbeck, who has played for Manchester United and Arsenal in the past, has scored goals against Chelsea.
