Transfer: Nigerian striker seals move to Bulgarian club, Botev Plovdiv

Bulgarian club, Botev Plovdiv have announced the signing of Nigerian striker, Chidera Michael Okoh, DAILY POST reports.

Okoh joined Botev Plovdiv from Greek club Asteras Aktor.

The 23-year-old spent two years with Asteras Aktor, where he started with the reserve team before graduating to the first team.

The striker is Botev Plovdiv’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window.

Okoh will wear the iconic No. 9 shirt during the 2026/27 campaign.

He joins fellow Nigerians Samuel Kalu, Chimezie Williams, Ifenna Dorgu and Bryan Hein at the club.
