Czech First League club Sparta Prague have announced the signing of Nigerian midfielder Linus Zika.
Zika joined the Reds from Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, outfit Sporting Lagos.
Sporting Lagos announced the transfer through a statement on their X account.
“We’re excited to announce that Linus Zika has completed a deal to join Czech Republic side, Sparta Prague on a permanent deal ,” the club wrote.
“Zika came through the ranks at our academy, played first team football and has joined the 14-time Czech Republic League winners.”
The youngster will train with Sparta Prague’s reserve team from where he is expected to graduate to the first team.
He made seven appearances for Sporting Lagos in the Nigeria National League, NNL, last season.
