‘Trustworthy, firm politician’ – PDP hails Agbedi’s emergence as Reps Minority Leader

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

The Taminu Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has hailed the emergence of Bayelsa lawmaker, Frederick Agbedi, as House of Representatives Minority Leader.

A statement by the factional National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Ini Ememobong, described Agbedi as trustworthy and firm politician.

It said the emergence is a mark of earned trust and deep confidence in his leadership abilities.

“We party welcomed the announcement made by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, during the plenary earlier today.

“Agbedi is a trustworthy, firm, irrepressible and principled politician, who responds only to conviction, not convenience,” the statement said.

DAILY POST reports that Agbedi is a former state chairman of the PDP in Bayelsa.
