Galatasaray head coach, Okan Buruk has heaped praise on Victor Osimhen following Saturday night’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Göztepe at RAMS Park.
The title holders rallied from a goal down to win the keenly contested encounter.
Osimhen registered a goal and an assist to help the Yellow and Reds secure maximum points.
The Nigeria international scored braces in Galatasaray’s opening two matches before the clash with Göztepe.
The 27-year-old has now recorded five goals and two assists in three matches for Galatasaray this season.
Buruk highlighted the improvement in the striker’s game.
“Our shot count has never been this high. Osimhen is getting the ball more often this time, he’s getting into more positions in the penalty area, and there’s a Galatasaray team that’s creating more chances,” Buruk was quoted as saying by the club’s official website.
