Turkey: Iheanacho savours Bursaspor’s victory over Batman Petrolspor

Kelechi Iheanacho has reflected on Bursaspor’s impressive victory over Batman Petrolspor, DAILY POST reports

The Green Crocodiles rallied to beat their hosts 2-1 in a keenly contested encounter on Saturday night.

Doria put the hosts ahead in the 29th minute, but Iheanacho levelled the score from the penalty spot on the hour mark.

The 29-year-old then completed the comeback five minutes from full time slotting the ball home from close range.

Iheanacho was delighted with the outcome of the game.

“We are happy, we won today, it was a great victory for us especially for the people of Bursa that were watching the game,” Iheanacho said during his interaction with the media after the game.

“We knew it was going to be a tough game, but we came out on top to win. We are very happy to return to Bursa with a win.”
