Turkey: Nwaiwu explains secret behind Trabzonspor’s victory over Galatasaray

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Chibuike Nwaiwu has revealed that Trabzonspor head coach Thomas Reis’ instructions were key to the team’s emphatic win over Galatasaray.

Trabzonspor thrashed the defending champions 4-0 in their Turkish Super Lig encounter at the Papara Park on Saturday night.

Mohamed Salah scored a hat-trick, while Noah Saviolo was also on target for the Black Sea Storm.

Nwaiwu explained that the players showed a strong desire to keep going despite enjoying a comfortable lead at the break.

“We went into the locker room at halftime,” Nwaiwu was quoted by Haber61.

“Among the things we talked about, along with our teammates, were what our coach told us: that we needed to keep going, maintain the score, and that we could finish the match with even higher scores.”
