Turkish: Oğuz Altay wants two Nigerian strikers in Galatasaray’s attack

Daily Post about 1 hour 2 mins read

Turkish football pundit, Oğuz Altay, wants two Nigerian stars, Victor Osimhen and Gift Orban, in Galatasaray’s attack.

This follows Orban’s strong performance at the beginning of the season, with Altay recommending that Galatasaray pursue the signing of the Nigerian striker from Amedspor.

Altay said this while talking about Galatasaray’s need for an additional attacking player to complement Victor Osimhen.

Orban joined Amedspor from Hoffenheim on a temporary loan in July.

The pundit proposed that Orban could establish a productive partnership with Osimhen and advised Galatasaray to consider options closer to home for a forward position.

“Allow me to share my perspective. You need not search extensively. Bring Orban from Amedspor as a second striker alongside Osimhen. I have considerable admiration for Deniz Gül, which is a distinct consideration; however, you will establish an outstanding tactical approach,” he said, as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.

“He demonstrates diverse finishing techniques. He possesses exceptional speed, executes skillful dribbling manoeuvres past defenders and demonstrates varied finishing capabilities.

“He converts volleys, headers, distance shots and precision finishes, while also contributing to team defensive efforts. He represents a capable athlete,” he stated.

Orban has accumulated seven goals and two assists in six league matches this season, resulting in nine total goal contributions in his first six matches.
