Two gunned down as Police foil robbery attempt at GCB Bank branch in Labone

The Ghana Police Service has foiled an attempted robbery at a branch of GCB Bank at Labone in Accra. The incident occurred on Thursday, August 13, 2026, according to the Police Service. In a brief statement, the Police said two suspected robbers were shot dead during the operation, while a third suspect was arrested.
