Two quarter-final fixtures have been confirmed at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup following the latest round of matches.
South Korea will face Italy in the first confirmed quarter-final on Saturday, September 19, while Brazil will take on Spain later the same day.
South Korea and Italy will meet at Arena Sosnowiec in Sosnowiec, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm WAT.
Brazil will then face Spain at the same venue at 5:30pm WAT.
The remaining two quarter-final ties will be decided after Thursday’s round-of-16 matches.
Nigeria booked their place in the last eight after thrashing England 3-0 at Bielsko-Biala Stadium.
Tosin Rafiu opened the scoring for the Falconets in the eighth minute before Seimeyeha Janet
Akekoromowei doubled Nigeria’s lead shortly after half-time.
Mary Mamudu added a third in the 73rd minute to seal Nigeria’s progression.
The Falconets will face the winner of the Poland vs Colombia round-of-16 clash in the quarter-finals on Sunday, September 20, at 2pm WAT at Stadion Miejski ŁKS Łódź.
Canada will also play in the quarter-finals after defeating France 3-1 on Thursday. They will face the winner of the DPR Korea vs Japan tie at 5:30pm WAT on September 20.
