Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has hailed three of his players following their 4-0 UEFA Champions League win over Sabah on Thursday.
Man United defeated Sabah at Old Trafford, thanks to goals from Matheus Cunha, Bruno Fernandes, Benjamin Sesko and Lisandro Martínez.
Speaking during his post-match interview, Carrick praised Harry Amass, Patrick Dorgu and Shea Lacey for their displays against the visitors, insisting that he was pleased with them.
“Delighted with being able to get Harry on the pitch — and Shea. It’s something we were focused on as the game developed,” Carrick said.
“It’s important to get the younger boys on the pitch for this football club, so I’m pleased with both of them. I thought Pat [Dorgu] played ever so well; he was a big threat down that side of the pitch for us tonight, so I was pleased with Pat.”
Man United’s next match is against Manchester City in the Premier League derby on Sunday.
